We are excited to announce the first ever Acton Open Mini Golf Tournament hosted by Wicky Ralph’s Ice Cream & Mini Golf, benefitting Grammy Rose Dog Rescue & Sanctuary. This will be hopefully our first of many annual fundraisers for the rescue. All proceeds will go towards the costs for transporting dogs from southern state shelters – where they are in danger of being euthanized – to our campus here in Maine. The event will be held on Saturday May 20th from 12-3 PM. Jay Larkin will be playing live music and Gotta Be Frank Gourmet will be serving lunch to golfers and ticket holders, included in your admission price. We are seeking teams to participate in the tournament and businesses to sponsor holes- this is where you come in. Participating as a team: The tournament will consist of 17, four person teams participating via shotgun start. A team will consist of a captain and three other members; for thirty dollars per person you will get to take part in the tournament, receive a t-shirt, and will be provided a lunch from Gotta be Frank catering. Trophies will be awarded to the winners, and of course bragging rights until the next tournament. You can also win a trophy by participating in other contests. Sponsoring a hole: For a donation of $200 a hole sponsorship includes a 24” x 18” double sided sign that will stay at the hole all week through the busy Memorial Day holiday weekend. We will also print out a rule book and list participating sponsors. This will be a private event. Spectators in addition to participating team members are asked to RSVP and purchase a food ticket for twenty dollars.
